BP FPSO PSVM 

BP required the commissioning of the topside process plant cooling system of the FPSO “PSVM” using a reservoir of 17,000mt of fresh water at Singapore anchorage. Niksam sourced a barge in Indonesia and performed the engineering studies and installed  valves, pipes and pumping equipment to converted it into a compartmentalised water tanker and arranged for it to be towed to Singapore. 2 x 750 Tpa diesel driven water pumps and over 500 metres of 14” of HDPU piping to class requirements were arranged to supply water from the reservoir to the FPSO cooling system and heat exchangers to return it the reservoir continuously for 96 hours.
